Stamped Concrete Driveways

Stamped Concrete is the ideal surface for driveways, it is functional, decorative, adds value to the home and lasts the lifetime of the concrete, with proper care and maintenance, a stamped concrete driveway may easily last 20 years or more.

Many years ago there were not many choices for driveways, it was either concrete or asphalt, nowadays the homeowner has many more choices and when the installation is for new construction then stamped concrete is the clear choice to decorate a new driveway.

The process of stamping concrete is done while the concrete is still in its plastic state, color is added either to the concrete mix in the form of Integral Color, or on the surface as Color Hardener. After the color is added, a Release Powder cot Liquid is broadcast on the surface then followed up by the stamping process. After the stamping is done, the concrete is left to cure for about three days then it is washed to remove excess release powder and sealed.
