how about a "newly posted" button on the forums home page so we dont have to go to each forum to see whats new. also, most forums have a memory of what is new since you have been away so when you click it only the new topics will appear
ok, i have been pressing the rss feed button but its still not straight forward. since i brought this up, ill give you an exact examle of an awesome layout. i have been a member of a forum for chrysler 300c automobiles since 2006, here is a link to the forum.http://www.300cforums.com/forums/ it has a perfect layout. there is a "new posts" button, an "active topics" button and when you scroll over a topic it shows a glimpse of what the topic contains withou clicking on it. i love this place and love the people here but the forum is tough and time consuming to browse. the link here is pinned to the top of my browser and yet i sometimes dont click on it because its difficult to just check in and see whats new. i save this place for once or twice a week when i have extended time. if it were more user friendly i would surf here more. i know i am not a paid member here but if becoming a member will add some revenu to change these problems ill call with my cc today. how about posting a survey and see whet the other members think. all of the forums(12 in total) im part of seem similar in layout and ease except for this one.

If you click on RSS feeds (top of every page, including home page), all new posts (no matter what Forum category they were posted under will appear); along with various other options that have to do with this new forum feature.
