As I am sure you are aware

As I am sure you are aware there are a great many manufacturers of concrete countertop decorative edging molds that are reusable; but, the to my knowledge only very simplistic edges (none that I consider decorative, be they chistled rock or stone like look, etc) are available in styrofoam.  You got my curiousity up, so since you have had no answer for so long to your post I "goodled it" (search was non-productive as to source, as I'm sure you did as well before posting sourcing question here).

Stegmier

Stegmier makes countertop forms out of styrofoam, and they come in many different profiles. I've used them before. but to make a broken edge form would be very simple if they don't make that particular style. I just form a square edge face, to the countertop, extending an inch further than usual and install chunks of syrofoam, gluing them to the face of the edge form. Pour and strip and pull out the foam chunks and you have your broken edge. Bob Harris once told me he took the claws of a regular hammer and broke the edge off his countertops to get this look, finishing of course with smoothing out the edges with diamond pads.

I was aware of the Stegmier

I was aware of the Stegmier styrofoam forms, I've used the cantilever ones for forming cantilever coping/edge for swimming pools.  The ones they have for countertops a very limited and not decoative (just simplistically function).  I like the method you (Dr. J) use incorporting chunks of styrofoam ... as well as using the claw end of hammer to make a chistled stone looking edge (Bob Harris) technique, so long as did't crack the countertop in doing so.

Countertop edge forms

I have a couple of broken edge forms for countertops. They are made of rubber...8 ft long by 1 1/2" wide. I have had to improvise several times in forming countertops that are longer than eight ft so as to not cut a form liner using the chunks of styrofoam idea. When all was stripped and cleaned up, you couldn't find the difference in the forms.

Beautiful custom concrete

Beautiful custom concrete countertop creation.  Edgework is truely prestine and exhibits your true attention to detail as a master craftsman.
