just wondering if anyone is in or near the Tazewell Va. area. Received a call from a company wanting a bid from that area. What is stain and seal going for in that area? Called a couple of people and got voice mail. So thanks in advance for any input.

Probably about the same/norm as in your area (unless you are in someplace like NYC, Los Angeles, Alaska, Hawaii or region of the country that effect cost of materials/goods/servies as well as labor rates.

Of course, price per sq.ft. demends on factors that you have not disclosed such as ...

(1) total number of sq.ft. as well as is this one large area or several small rooms with a lot of fixtures/walls/cabinetts that must be addressed to protect them.

(2) new or old concrete ... if old concrete, does it hav previous coatings, glue/mastic residues, etc that must be removed bringing about more entailed surface preparation requirements ... also, what is the condition of the concrete (is it a canidate for acid staining, or might a microtopping or overlayment be required in order to obtain a uniform/desired decorative concrete result).

(3) what type of sealer, this would of course have a bearing on related materials costs that translates over to charge per sq.ft. to the property owner

(4) one color, or blend of acid stained colors?

(5) standard acid stained surface, or one with enhancing scored lines?
