curbing decorative concrete surfaces is like an artist framing a painting
Just as an artist frames their painting, exterior decorative concrete surfaces are taken to a whole new level and enhanced by curbing. It also provides a certain degree of protection ... how many times have you created a clasically designed, vibrantly colored, driveway, or perhaps a sidewalk, only to have the homeowner or a yard service damage it by clipping/chipping an edge with a mower or some other yard tool? Curbing would have eliminated this accidental concrete injury to the hardscape surface you fashioned for them. Of course, curbing also reduces yard work and accents the existing landscape. If there are trees and flower beds, they can be curbed around, which ties them into the total exterior design picture (with you coloring the curbs to frame out your architectual concrete works. I was just wondering how many of you that are focused on, and specialize in, decorative concrete surfaces are including curbing in your surfaces/services business.
