applying lacquer sealer, what method are you guys using?

I have been spraying it on with a pump up sprayer, only thinning it enough to not leave spray lines. Just curious to see what others are doing. I was talking to another contractor that said he was using a HVLP gun with great results, but I thought HVLP guns only held a quart which seems to me would be a pain on large jobs. I am thinking about using an airless on my next job just to see how that works.

I used airless sprayers for years and always found it was the fastest, most economical and got the best results.
You can spray evenly, much faster than pump spraying or rolling, no need to thin, and you will have nicer finish. I think they are worth the investment, only caveat is that you have to make sure you clean and maintain properly.
